Movement Fundamentals is a curriculum designed by Jane Hawley, which empowers us to learn about our own anatomy, how we move, and develop love and gratitude for our bodies. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and consider bringing some layers like long sleeves or sweatshirts for your comfort. Barefoot or socks are encouraged, but comfortable clean shoes are good too!
Everyone is welcome to attend, including all body shapes, all ages, and all ability levels. There are no mirrors in the studio, and this is a supportive and judgment-free zone. We will record our experiences with writing or drawing, and you are invited (but not required) to share your thoughts or questions with the group.
